Outreach at Holy Comforter is the fulfillment our Baptismal covenant to “seek and serve Christ in all persons,” and “respect the dignity of every human being”. We seek to highlight needs in our community and to encourage awareness and action among our parishioners through partnerships with community ministries.
Holy Comforter opened the first Loaves & Fishes food pantry in Charlotte in 1974, thanks to the dedication, inspiration, and determination of parishioner Virginia Sampson.
