Outreach at Holy Comforter is the fulfillment of our Baptismal covenant to “seek and serve Christ in all persons,” and “respect the dignity of every human being”. We seek to highlight needs in our community and to encourage awareness and action among our parishioners through partnerships with community ministries.
Holy Comforter is committed to the ministry of addressing homelessness through its support of Roof Above. Roof Above offers services and programs ranging from street outreach to shelter and housing.

Holy Comforter has a long history of supporting those who endure long-term struggles with housing by partnering with Roof Above for the Room in the Inn program. Bi-weekly, on Saturday nights December through March, we will host unhoused neighbors, providing security, food, warmth and fellowship. Volunteers are needed to help with this ministry.
