The holidays don’t always bring tidings of comfort and joy. For many, Christmas is a difficult time. Loss of loved ones, loss of relationships, loss of jobs, loss of health, distress in life and in the world.
Acknowledging such realities, we will offer a service of recognition of these and other losses, and perhaps help being some measure of peace and comfort.
This “Longest Night” or “Blue Christmas” service will be a time of prayer and presence and fellowship.
We will come together on Wednesday December 21 at 7pm. Weather permitting, we will begin in the Memorial Garden, continue in the Sanctuary, and conclude in Henry Hall with an activity where we will plant bulbs as an expression of hope.
Please RSVP to Fr Greg at [email protected] if you plan to attend, so that we may have enough planting materials on hand.
